Because the cost of living in New York is higher than most US cities, please be prepared to pay more for hotels and other lodging. For example, an average 3-4 star hotel in NYC costs between $200 and $300 a night. We recommend guests budget between $750-1000 USD if they will be staying all 3 nights of the conference close to The New School (5th Avenue & 13th St,), however cheaper options are available if you stay slightly further out from campus. The map below shows area hotels (red icons ) nearby The New School: 63 5th Ave, New York, NY 10003.
The list below includes various hotels with different lodging options in the area around the main conference venue at The New School, but there is no official conference hotel where most guests will be staying. For a complete listing of all possible hotels in the area, we suggest using Trip Advisor to compare hotel rates, location from campus and individual accommodation needs of guests.
