Alexandre Grandjean

Alexandre Grandjean is currently running for a PhD at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland, at the Institut for Social Sciences of Contemporary Religions.

His former fields of research were pilgrimage studies and European networks of Divergent Marian Devotion. Right now, he’s studying how a process of “spiritualization” of ecology occurs in French-speaking networks for bottom-up sustainable transition. With ethnographic methods, he analyses how an “inner transition” approach is spreading in citizen-made ecology and what are the frictions that are arising out of it.
