Larry Frolich

Larry Frolich is faculty in Natural Sciences at Miami Dade College’s Downtown Wolfson Campus and Co-Editor of the International Handbook on Geography of Sustainability. He directs the “Ibarra Verde” project dedicated to analyzing the human ecology and improving quality of life in Ibarra, Ecuador, a high altitude mid-size Andean city in Northern Ecuador.  He was a Fulbright Scholar to Ecuador in 2010 and an Ecuadorian government Prometeo scholar in 2014-16.  He also directed the AndinoHerps project which revealed the great diversity of high altitude frogs in the Andes of northern Ecuador.
