Rajani Maharjan

Rajani Maharjan is a researcher at non-governmental organization, “Institute for Social and Environmental Transition-Nepal”. Her research interest includes river restoration, river ecology, waste water treatment, disaster risk reduction, climate change and resilient rebuilding. She has published an article on river pollution in a local newspaper titled, “The Ecology of Worship” and has co-authored few publications on disaster risk reduction and resilient rebuilding.

She holds dual masters degree in Anthropology from Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, Nepal, and in Environmental Sciences and Policy from Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff, Arizona.
